There is something special about capturing that perfect moment when the lighting gets so sweet and so pure on a person face or skin. I have an appreciation for what light can bring to a photgraph. I think there is beauty in everything and everyone God created. I love the natural look of a person so I do not like to edit pictures too much. I love capturing "that" moment in a picture so people can cherish it forever.

In college I studied under Kenyon Cobean, a very respected photographer in Roswell, New Mexico. He taught us everying there was to know about natural lighting and how to use it in my photographs. Even when the sun was down capturing moments from moonlight was something that he taught us to do. The darkroom was my favorite place to be. So quiet, nothing but you and your creation. I am still getting use to all of the technology I love it but I do miss my quiet place.

Growing up in a rural small town in New Mexico, I have learned to appreciate the nastalgic and some what forgotten places of the surrounding area. I use these to bring the appreciation of the past into the current. Blending these two into what I believe shows the style I hope that others will appreciate.
